The initial consultation phase of the web design process
is actually the most important phase. It can be done in person
if your company is local, over the phone, or by email.
The main focus of this meeting is primarily "getting
to know each other" and to allow for an exchange of ideas.
If you have any questions, we can answer them. If you have
any concerns, we will gladly address them.
We will discuss with you the type of site you envision, it's
objectives and goals and how we can work together to meet
those goals. It's also beneficial to put together a list of
2 or 3 other sites that you have seen that you like, also
some that you don't like, along with the reasons why you do
or do not like them. There is no charge for this meeting and
you are under no obligation to go any further.
If you decide to go forward after the initial meeting, we
will begin to get
into the details of your site: The number of pages it will
contain; how to
incorporate your company logo and color scheme into the website
- or shall we
create your new logo; do you wish to have a feedback or contact
form; will you
need to have your photos scanned, do you need to have graphics
created, and other details. Once we have this information
we will come up with a detailed cost proposal and site plan
that meets your companies objectives and fits your budget.
We will be happy to assist you in this in any way that we
can. The proposal will be submitted to you for your approval.
There is a $50 charge for this proposal, which will be waived
if we design
your site.
After signing the contract and receiving the first installment,
the actual designing and coding of your website will begin.
A private section on our server will be made accessible to
you so that you may monitor your sites' progress. We will
stay in frequent contact with you as the work progresses in
order to obtain your feedback and make any changes that you
request.
We are committed to providing you with a well designed, state-of-the-art
web site, on time and within the agreed upon budget. We do
extensive testing throughout the entire site building process
to ensure that your site will work in all major operating
systems and browser versions.
